「TillVal Folic Acid」100 tablets

TillVal Folic Acid is a dietary supplement recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women, but can also be taken if you have a one-sided diet or if you, as an elderly person, have problems with nutritional intake. During pregnancy, the baby goes through a couple of critical developmental phases that require an extra supplement of folic acid. Even during breastfeeding, the mother needs an extra supplement of folic acid because folic acid is transferred via the mother's milk.

One TillVal Folic acid tablet contains 500 μg of folic acid.  The National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish Food Agency's recommendations for intake are 400-500 µg per day.
